FAQs
What is Sound Therapy?
Listen to the soothing tones of Singing bowls that are placed around you and feel the healing vibration of the bowls placed on your body. Harmonize your physical body and your mental state with the original binaural beats and healing frequencies.
What is Thai massage?
Thai massage is a little like assisted yoga, deep tissue, and acupressure, all rolled together in a fabulous bodywork style. Thai massage is on a large, comfortable floor mat, not a table. You stay fully clothed during the whole massage.
What do I wear to Thai massage?
Please wear loose comfortable clothing to your Thai massage. Clothing without thick waistbands, pockets, and zippers make the massage more comfortable. Please remove your belts, watches, and necklaces too! Women, go braless! It really helps when working your back, ribs, and shoulders to be strap-free!
Does cupping leave marks?
Yes, cupping often leaves marks. The depth of color depends on the issues in your muscles and how long the cups stay on an area. The shape of the marks also differs from the techniques used during your cupping treatment. Some marks are circular and some are hazy and look more like sunburn redness. The marks fade after a few days.
What is Bowen?
Bowen allows your body to re-set and self-correct long-standing issues. Bowen is a light touch therapy that signals your body’s systems to begin a process of restructuring and healing. It is very gentle and feels subtle and yet can be profoundly healing and helpful with chronic painful conditions. It is best, to begin with, a series of 3 weekly appointments to give your body the optimum chance to re-balance. Each appointment is approximately 1 hour in length.
